Beta terms

What the beta includes

KomaClip lets users prepare, edit, animate, and export vertical clips from visual material they provide. Some features use artificial intelligence providers and consume credits when the product shows that cost before confirmation.

Beta access is personal, limited, and revocable. We may add, remove, or change features and limits to test the service safely. Taking part in the beta does not guarantee future access or particular commercial terms.

Account, invitation, and age

You must be at least 18 and provide accurate information. An invitation may not be sold, shared, or used to open accounts for other people. You are responsible for protecting your password, access methods, and account activity.

Tell us if you notice unauthorized access. We may temporarily restrict an account where necessary to protect the user, the service, or third-party rights.

Your content and rights

You keep ownership and any rights you hold in the images, text, video, audio, and other material you upload. You must have the permissions required to use and transform it.

You give KomaClip a non-exclusive authorization, limited to the time needed, to host, copy, technically adapt, process, display to you, and export that material within the service. This authorization does not allow KomaClip to sell your artwork, publish it independently, or use it to train a model of its own.

AI features and results

When you request an AI feature, KomaClip may send OpenAI or fal.ai the images, instructions, and technical data needed to run that action. We do not send a scene to these providers merely because you uploaded it.

Automated results may contain errors, artifacts, or unexpected elements. You must review them before publishing or using the clip and check that they respect third-party rights and the rules of the platform where you intend to share it.

Trial credits

Credits granted during the beta are an internal usage unit: they are not money, cannot be sold or transferred, and cannot be refunded for cash. Their expiry date and the cost of each action are shown in the product.

If a chargeable action fails without delivering the expected result, KomaClip automatically returns reserved credits according to the rule shown for that action.

Acceptable use

You may not use KomaClip to infringe copyright, impersonate people, distribute unlawful content, sexually exploit minors, harass others, introduce malicious code, evade limits, or interfere with the service.

We may block an action, remove material, or suspend access where there is a reasonable risk to users, third parties, or infrastructure. If you believe your work has been used without permission, contact support with enough information to locate it.

Availability and backups

The beta is evolving and may experience errors or interruptions. We apply reasonable measures to preserve projects, but KomaClip is not a replacement for your original copy: always keep a copy of important source files and clips.

We may perform maintenance, change limits, or end the beta. Where possible, we will give advance notice of changes that materially affect access or preservation of work.

Account closure and deletion

You may stop using the beta or ask us to delete your account by writing from its associated email address. Clips moved to trash are permanently deleted after 30 days. Some security, credit, or billing records may be retained where required by law or needed to resolve an incident.

We may close an account for a serious breach, security risk, or the end of the beta. We will try to give notice and provide a reasonable data exit where circumstances allow.

Purchases during the beta

An invitation and trial credits do not constitute a purchase. If we offer a paid feature to your account, you will see the price, taxes, renewal, and applicable terms before confirmation. Polar acts as merchant of record for those transactions.

Liability and mandatory rights

KomaClip is responsible as required by law for losses attributable to it. We are not responsible for losses caused by material used without permission, use contrary to these terms, third-party platforms, or automated results published without review.

Nothing in these terms limits non-waivable consumer rights or excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes, law, and contact

If these terms change materially, we will update the version and date and provide reasonable notice. Continuing to use the beta after the effective date means accepting the new version; if you disagree, you may stop using it and request account deletion.

These terms are governed by Spanish law without depriving consumers of mandatory rules or courts available to them.
